Every tissue culture begins with a plant. Each plant can have one or more explants, and each explant moves through a series of stages. xPlant connects every transfer, observation, and media record to this process, giving you a complete history of each culture.
The parent organism — a named record that groups all the culture material taken from one source plant.
A piece of tissue or culture derived from a plant. Each explant tracks its own stage history from initiation to acclimatization.
