Tissue culture jar cheers
xPlant Pro

Growing cleaner, closer, and greener.

Our Story

Built by growers,
for growers.

xPlant began with two people and a shared obsession: one a former computer scientist who loves clean systems, and the other a lifelong gardener fascinated by plants and soil. Together, as a small husband–and–wife team, we wanted to bring the joy and science of plant tissue culture to everyone—without the intimidating lab coat.

xPlant is a web-based tool to help anyone—from hobbyists to professional labs—organise, track, and manage tissue culture projects efficiently and safely. Every feature is guided by our belief that plant science should be practical, inspiring, and approachable.

Open science

We believe plant science thrives when knowledge is shared. xPlant is built to lower the barrier to entry, not raise it.

Practical tools

Every feature ships only when it solves a real problem in a real lab. No bloat, no fluff—just workflow that works.

Sustainable growth

From organic media recipes to contamination tracking, we help growers make choices that are better for their plants and the planet.

Mission

Why we do this

Plants connect us to what is slow, alive, and fascinating. By providing an approachable platform we aim to empower users to explore tissue culture safely, track their projects, and deepen their understanding of plant science.

We're a small, passionate team dedicated to continuously improving xPlant and supporting open-source initiatives—helping the community experiment, learn, and grow.
